Mold Technician

We are currently seeking individuals to work in our Mold Repair & Assembly area on 2nd shift. Overtime is worked as needed. You must have tools (beyond standard is furnished). This position assembles and quality checks new blow molds and related components. The position is involved in the repair and/or refurbishment of customers existing blow molds, bringing these molds up to the original mold specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform full range of tool work, focusing on mold maintenance.
  • Operate all manual machine tools, hand tools and equipment.
  • Identify, plan and implement mold repair improvements for quality and productivity.
  • Assemble and fit mold components.
  • Verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), calipers, micrometers and electronic measuring devices.
  • Final fit and inspect subassemblies and components.
  • Share expertise and knowledge throughout the machine shop.
  • Use skills to protect against potential damage to all machines.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures always.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience with hand tools.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Wage:

  • $13 to $18 per hour depending on experience and skill level

CNC Machinist

We are currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists for 2nd shift. Overtime is worked as needed. The CNC Machinist will produce machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC machine while maintaining quality, safety standards, records and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Set-up, adjust and operate basic machine tools to perform precision machining operations.
    • This includes aligning and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories or materials onto the machine.
  • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
    • Measure, examine or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometer, calipers or other measuring instruments.
  • Document actions by completing required paperwork
  • Perform minor mechanical and assembly work as needed
  • Share expertise and knowledge throughout the machine shop.
  • Use skills to protect against potential damage to all machines.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures always.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 5 years machining experience with advanced knowledge of machining operations and tolerances.
  • Must understand basic math and geometric tolerances.
  • Ability to read blueprints, engineering plans, procedure manuals and work instructions.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

CNC Programmer

We are currently seeking experienced CNC programmers who have experience with MasterCAM. Overtime is worked as needed. The CNC Programmer will combine computer skills with manufacturing knowledge to program manufacturing software programs creating machined blow mold parts in an efficient, precise process with minimal waste, increased product consistency and reduced energy consumption. CNC programmers will determine the sequence of events, calculate the metal feed and develop the code directing CNC machines which will cut & shape pieces/parts for a new blow mold assembly.

Responsibilities:

  • Program CNC mold components using MasterCAM.
  • Documentation or part process and programming
  • Fabricate projects as directed by the customer, engineering and design team.
  • Share expertise and knowledge throughout the machine shop.
  • Use skills to protect against potential damage to all machines.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures always.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Associates degree or certificate program in CNC programming
  • 3 years experience programming with MasterCAM
  • Experience with SolidWorks CAD software (preferred)
  • Experience with Haas CNC set-up and operation (preferred)
  • Experience with 5th axis programming and machine operation (preferred)
